In 2006, 3D Scanners UK decided to concentrate their efforts in the 'bottleneck' of most scanning work - the software used to manipulate data collected by any type of 3D scanner. This led the company to Innovmetric PolyWorks® software, the most powerful post-processing software solution available, and 3D Scanners UK were thrilled to become the official Master Distributor for both UK and Eire.
The benefit to our Bureau department is that the company is no longer tied down to using just one type of scanning system, but has the ability to to use the most appropriate system for our customers' requirements.
As a result the Bureau has provided reverse engineering and inspection solutions for a wide range of clients across a variety of industry sectors.
The company continues to respond to the diverse needs of its clients, employing new and innovative technology alongside traditional high standards of customer service.
Our premises are now situated in the Health, Design & Technology Institute Building. This is located next to the Design Hub (our previous premises) on the Coventry Technology Park, the building stands at the entrance to the park itself.
The Institute has been created to take a national lead in responding to the future challenges of community healthcare provision - helping businesses launch new and improved products and services.
The ground floor of the building is occupied by the design and usability functions of the HDTI. These include a design studio where the 3d scanning would normally take place and a workshop which is large enough to accommodate a vehicle.
It has been designed to provide an environment that encourages networking and in which businesses, academics, healthcare professionals and users can collaborate.
Two seminar/training rooms can be found on the ground and second floors, allowing PolyWorks classroom style training and business seminars.
The second floor also accommodates our 3D Scanners offices, which is home to the 3D Scanners UK scanning bureau and PolyWorks® Master Distributer UK.
