PolyWorks® Metrology Suite Tip
When you import files into your projects using menu commands, you have to proceed by file type: CAD models, polygonal models, or point clouds. Starting with PolyWorks MS 2019 IR2, you can simply drag and drop files of any type into PolyWorks|Inspector™ or PolyWorks|Modeler™ at the same time!
Step by step: To import point cloud, polygonal model, and CAD files simultaneously:
- Select the files to be imported using your preferred file browser.
- Drag the file selection onto an open PolyWorks|Inspector or PolyWorks|Modeler window.
NOTE: During file import, any specifications made in dialog boxes will automatically apply to all subsequent files of the same type being imported.
