The ATOS camera systems offer a self-checking process to provide reliable scan data. The scanning process is continually monitored, each step of the measurement is traceable and the operator automatically alerted to any condition changes that could affect quality.

The Surphaser product range is uniquely suited for laser scanning requirements that fall between the two common fields of relatively small fixed area work and large area surveying. There are tailored systems for different range requirements, so it is possible to select a unit best suited for a particular scope of work. With survey companies’ now demanding higher accuracy options, our 50HSX model is perfectly suited for sub-mm “high-quality” surveying applications, and is very competitively priced for this significant market area. For large volume metrology requirements our deep sub-mm accuracy 100HSX models offer ultra-low noise data, which greatly eases post-processing tasks. These scanners are widely in use in industries such as aerospace, military, shipbuilding, and train manufacture. Service companies also commonly employ Surphaser scanners, not just because of excellent data quality produced, but also because of the versatility the scanners provide. Additionally Surphaser SMR nest compatible target accessories allow direct comparison of scan data to a traceable measurement instrument, such as a laser tracker. This is crucial where overall scan accuracy needs to be verified, as systems of this type do not yet conform to any nationally recognised standards.
