PolyWorks Software
Maximising the benefits of 3D measurement technologies for industrial manufacturers
PolyWorks software maximises productivity, quality, and profitability when integrating 3D measurement technology into a manufacturing process. From part and tool design, and prototyping down to final inspection of assembled products, PolyWorks offers advanced solutions to cover the complete product development cycle. PolyWorks has become the portable metrology industry’s standard for major automotive OEMs and tier-one suppliers. This is due to PolyWorks being the most adaptable software solution on the 3D metrology market.
With the PolyWorks software suite;
- PolyWorks interfaces directly with major brands.
- This universal platform also supports a wide range of native point cloud and polygonal model file formats
- Capable of supporting single-point and point cloud 3D metrology through plug-in extension modules.
- Fully customisable user interface
- Powerful, user-friendly macro programming language
- Allows our customers to successfully develop and deploy automatic inspection processes or guided operator-driven workflows for effective shop floor operations.
With the release of PolyWorks 2017 , it now efficiently handles multi-CMM setups that are typically found in the automotive industry:
- The mirroring tool allows users to automatically create a right measurement sequence from a left measurement sequence. This halves the time needed to prepare an inspection project for a full car body assembly.
- Synchronisation operations can be inserted into a sequence. This allows users to share measured object components among PolyWorks|Inspector™ sessions running on multiple computers. It also enables operators to use features on the left and right sides when aligning a part to its CAD model.
